Baby Bliss
First, and favorite Newborn photoshoot! Okay, I’m a bit biased with this one, because she’s mine. <3

When my wonderful friends came to me again for family portraits, of course I said yes. When they told me it was to help document Nicks retirement from the Navy, I was honored.
When my friends Jaymie and Dennis came to me looking for last minute maternity photos, I couldn’t have been more honored that they chose me. They’re such a lovely couple, and their baby girl is absolutely beautiful!
When the Neal family came to me asking where to take photos that would reflect their new home, I knew just the place. They were “beach” people, so I wanted to keep their love of the water as a key part of this shoot. We chose to do their photos at a local lake to capture the woodsy feeling, waterside.
I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph the Sacay family who just welcomed their third baby girl into the world. Thank you for trusting me to capture this moment in time.
Lexy and David were a pleasure to shoot at RB winery. Their love for each other is truly sincere and shown from these photos. Congratulations on their engagement and upcoming wedding.
Looking for a simple afternoon to escape the confines of our apartment, my beautiful wife an I went for a mini adventure. We stumbled upon this beautiful short trail along the La Jolla coastline. With her floral dress and perfect smile, how could I not take advantage to get some awesome photos? You’ll always be my favorite subject to photograph. That new 85 looks nice too.

About a month ago, went on a trip to Hawaii with our friends Gabby and Adam. The trip itself was planned at the last minute and we were a late addition to their plans, but it worked out well and we were able to get the time off as needed.
It was the day before we were planning to leave when Adam texted us: “Aloha Sweets!” sweets is our nickname, “I have a huge favor to askđŸ˜¬.” Immediately Lex and I knew that we were preparing for a proposal, because what else would be a huge favor? Needless to say we couldn’t be more excited to help Adam plan and execute this Picturesque Proposal.
The site he had chosen was absolutely incredible. The Ho’omaluhia Botanical Garden is a beautiful location set in the eastern mountains around the island of O’ahu in the Kaneohe neighborhood. It definitely came with its own set of issues, the road everyone likes to take their pictures at was off-limits and you weren’t allowed to stop anywhere along it. I had to get creative and scout some backup locations in the area to still give them what they were looking for.
Take a look at the results and let us know what you think. Ready to book a photo shoot with us? Leave us a note!
Jasmine and Johnny are a simply amazing couple who’ve been together for over a decade, but are getting ready to tie the knot this spring. Full disclosure, jasmine is my sister in law and is featured in some of our blog post photos so I may be a little biased in my excitement to take their engagement photos.
It was an absolute honor to be entrusted with these photos. Photos they’ll look back on over and over again throughout their lives. I’m also humbled to play a small role in their wedding as the “Boo wrangler” Boo is their adorable American Bully who’ll be flower girl in their upcoming wedding.
Just over a month remains before they say their “I do’s”
Congratulations to Jasmine and Johnny!
About the shoot:
Gabby and Adam came to me looking for some casual holiday card photos. This eccentric couple has never had photos taken for them, and didn’t know quite what to expect.
This led to some great candids and a willingness to try something new. I think the results speak for themselves. Thank you Gabby and Adam for having a great time on this shoot!
